We are always up for an adventure. These adventures could be as simple as camping in our backyard or as crazy as making a quick trip to the beach.

"Alison will always put others needs before her own.  She is a great mother.  It is important to her to take time doing things with the boys. She is not afraid to catch bugs, shoot monsters, or build tents in the house.  She always pushes me to better, make better choices, and encourages me to be the best father and husband I can be." ~Chris

"Chris is extremely talented in many ways.  He works hard at everything he does.  This includes being a good father and husband.  I am always grateful that I married such a great man. Chris has played in a band for many years.  I have always thought he is one of the most talented musicians that I know.  He loves the idea of someday being able to' jam' with his kids." ~Alison

Before we were married, Chris and I would stay up late talking on the phone with each other.  After 11+ years of marriage, we still often stay up late laughing and talking.  Our friendship has helped us get through some hard times. It helps us remember what and who is most important.

There is often an out-break of 'dance parties' in our house.  We all love to dance, although Chris will never admit to doing so. The boys memorize all types of songs and sing them in the car, however the first thing I usually hear when I start the engine is "Mom, can you turn on Dad's band?"  It's cute to hear them sing along with Chris's CD.

Mark is very smart and full of imagination. He has the ability to make everyone feel special.   He enjoys playing sports and with his Star Wars toys. He chooses to spend his days playing outside, catching lizards, and digging in the dirt.  Watch out Angry Birds-there is not a level that he can't beat.

Nash is fearless, and is the first to try anything new.  He is strong-willed and determined.  He is quick to smile and has a corky sense of humor.  He loves anything active. Nash loves to sing and dance as Dad plays his guitar. Although Nash's air-guitar needs some work, his dance moves can't be beat!

Mark and Nash are fiercely protective of each other.  They play and fight like brothers do.  They can laugh and giggle for hours, and then become arch-nemeses within minutes.  We love to see how Mark protects and takes care of his younger brother, and how Nash always wants his big brother to be happy.

Chris and I met in New York and instantly became great friends. When I  moved home to Colorado, we didn't see each other for eight months. We knew we never wanted to be apart again.  Our friendship keeps us laughing.  We are grateful for each other and our family.

We have been so blessed with the adoption of our two sons.  This is when we first brought Nash home.  Mark was so excited to have a little brother.  Our family has grown with love.  We are grateful for the opportunity to add more love to our little family band.
